LOCAL EXPEDITIONS

Dominica's premier kayak outfitter. We offer an array of kayak and snorkeling tours as well as sea kayaking lessons. We have five local tours in the most photographed Bay in Dominica, Soufriere Bay. They range from beginner to intermediate tours. One specialty tour is 3/4 of a day and involves a Dominica bush cookout. All snorkeling tours take place in the pristine Soufriere/Scotts Head Bay Marine Reserve at the best snorkeling sites on the island.

Our sea kayaking lessons range from beginner to intermediate and will take you paddling in the stunning Soufriere Bay, the dynamic Martinique Channel, the river mouth surf at Layou river, and the remote Atlantic Coast by the quaint fishing village of Stowe.

We also outfit kayakers on the Waitukubuli Sea Trail; the Caribbean's first established marine trail along the Caribbean Coast of Dominica. Our 16 NDK boat fleet is perfect to experience Nature Island from a unique perspective. We also work with other NDK Centers to outfit guides and their clients.

Eian Fritid is Norway’s oldest dedicated kayak and canoe centre with over 35 years in the business. 

Our motto is “Paddling for everyone” something we believe wholeheartedly and try to live by. 

We organize activities and courses for schools and families as well as the intermediate and advanced paddler. From leisurely paced glamping trips in sheltered conditions to exposed multi day trips on the west coast. We also organize Norway’s biggest kayak festival Bølgefestivalen, a festival dedicated to having fun in rough waters. Day and moltie day expeditions.
