An adventurous and out-going group of paddlers! Based in the stunning location of North Wales, local to Celtic Paddles, Snowdonia Canoe Club extended their range last summer by paddling on a self guided trip in the Broughton Archipelago, off Northern Vancouver Island.
It was a trip of a lifetime with many firsts for most of the seven in the group, with sightings of Cougar, Eagles, Orca, Humpback, Sea Lions and a massive pod of Pacific White Sided Dolphin, all from the kayaks. The wildlife was what we had mainly gone for, with the stunning scenery coming a close second.
The whole trip was made even better as Celtic Paddles had given us use of four part paddles to use on the trip. These made the work so much easier than the rental heavies.
Photo location was Gander Bay on Eden Island with thanks to Nick Targett for the fabulous photos.
